Join us in person or virtually for a fun-filled morning of tradition, family, fitness, friendship and giving back!
Perfect for adults, teenagers, and children, the Turkey Trot is a guaranteed way to get a healthy start to your Thanksgiving and do something good for your community.
If you prefer to trot virtually, you're invited to walk, run or leisurely stroll 3.1 miles during a time that's convenient the week of Thanksgiving!

If you cannot make it to the Noble County Family YMCA Turkey Trot, you can run with us wherever you may be, anytime the week of Thanksgiving (November Nov 22-28, 2021). This is a great opportunity for you to get your t-shirt and printable race bib so you and your family can keep the tradition alive even if you can’t make it to the big event this year. Please note: only timed runners at the Noble County Family YMCA Turkey Trot will be eligible for age group awards or finisher medals.
- 1 mile Mini Gobbler Fun Run: 7:30 A.M.
- 5K: 8:00 A.M.
Absolutely, strollers are welcome and participants with strollers MUST line up at the back of the starting corrals.
Dog/Stroller/Walker Policy: All dogs, strollers and walkers MUST line up at the back of the starting corrals. Please keep all dogs to a maximum 3 foot leash. Runners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs.
Yes, all well trained, friendly dogs on leashes (max. 3 ft.) are welcome and MUST line up at the back of the starting corrals.

No, because they travel at a higher speed, for the safety of others, rollerblades, Heelys, roller skates, scooters and bicycles are not allowed in the Noble County Family Turkey Trot.
In general, no matter what the weather, the Turkey Trot will go on! Only severe lightning will delay the event. Our paramount concern is the safety of our participants.
Proceeds from the Turkey Trot go to support the Tim Hight Food Program, helping youth in our community reach their full potential by providing free access to healthy snacks and meals year-round.
